The Nepalese Academy of Management (NAM) is a leading professional association for scholars and professionals dedicated to create and disseminate knowledge related to all disciplines required for managing organizations. Members of the academy are scholars at colleges, universities and research institutions, as well as practitioners with scholarly interests from business, government, and not-for-profit organizations. The Academy of Management frequently organizes international conference, workshops, doctoral consortium, and faculty development programs for the benefit of its members and wider communities.

Manuscript Requirements

  1. Manuscripts should be submitted in “double spaced format” with wide margins, with a short (not more than 150 words and pp sized photo) autobiographical note describing each author. 
  2. Manuscripts should be between 5000 to 6000 words in length and must be in ONE document created in Word format. Number all of the pages of the paper.
  3. An abstract is compulsory in each paper and should be between 250 to 400 words. All papers must be submitted in English, before the deadline.
  4. References should be completed in Emerald Publication Style, and shown within the text by giving the author's last name following the year of publication all in round brackets, e.g. (Adhikari, 2008).
  5. Notes/Endnotes should be used only if absolutely necessary.  
  6. Participants must register by the due dates. For registration, follow the instructions that will be posted in the web page of NAM: www.nam.org.np    
  7. Submitted papers must NOT have been previously presented, published, accepted for publication, and if under review, must NOT appear in print before NAM Conference - 2013.
  8. NO changes in the paper title, abstract, authorship, and actual paper can occur AFTER the submission deadline.
  9. Each paper can only be submitted to ONE track and a person can submit only to 2 tracks maximum.
  10. When a paper is accepted, at least one author must register and present their work at the conference
