 Nepalese Academy of Management (NAM) is designed to encourage management research, education and knowledge dissemination that are of relevant to management practices contextually as well as globally. The academy, an independent organization, is pleased to welcome researchers, scholars, and practitioners around the globe who are interested in management issues, and look forward to contributing to the advancement of management theory, research and education.

The objective of the Nepalese Academy of Management is to ensure advancement of research, knowledge and education in the area of organization and management studies. The NAM places a strong emphasis on an interdisciplinary approach, a theoretical perspective, pluralism and research in all disciplines of management, economics, and social sciences.

The Nepalese Academy of Management pursues its objective by:

I.          Nurturing the development of knowledge locally, regionally and globally, and ensuring wider appreciation and acceptance of knowledge.

II.        Providing a forum for presentation and publication of scholarly research, and exchange of ideas and experience so as to contribute their advancement.

III.       Facilitating international collaboration and network-building for research and development, which, in turn, guarantees opportunities to scholars and practitioners from around the globe for their professional development


IV.       Promoting the development of research capabilities and educational activities that contribute to the intellectual and operational leadership in the fields.

       Offering assistance to young scholars and students to attend conferences and present their papers
